Interim Pastor Tom Daniel

Pastor Tom is a native of Greenville, Alabama. He and his wife Sylvia, have two grown children and five granddaughters. Tom is a graduate of Troy University and New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminary. He has pastored churches in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. After sixteen years as lead pastor, he retired in 2020 from the First Baptist Church of Lynn
Haven, Florida. Since retirement from fulltime ministry, he has served churches in Alabama and Florida in an interim capacity. In his spare time Tom enjoys hunting, fishing and golf. He
and Sylvia also enjoy spending time with family.

Volunteer Associate Pastor Daniel Johnson

Daniel serves as our volunteer Associate Pastor. Between growing up in the Navy and serving his adult life in the Air Force, Daniel has lived in and visited a myriad of places around the globe. These frequent God-directed moves recently brough him, along with his wife Shella and their three children, to our Mexico Beach congregation in 2024. In his youth, Daniel made the personal decision to accept Christ as his personal Savior and became burdened in 2021 by the call of God to complete “a second career” in the Air Force as a Chaplain. He now holds a BS in Religion from Liberty University and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity. His hobbies involve stories across all mediums, and a fervent search for truth in Scripture and History.
